Some of the best experiences happen when you say yes before you have time to overthink it. When plans change, everyday life has to be rearranged, and you simply have to trust that everything will work out. For us, it’s about staying open, flexible, and daring to seize the opportunities that come our way, even when they’re spontaneous. And that is exactly what we’ve learned through our time with LM Kids, where safety, trust, and great experiences always go hand in hand.

For us, flexibility plays a big role. Many jobs come with short notice, so being adaptable as parents means a lot. It’s a clear advantage that our jobs allows time off, especially when something comes up spontaneously. We feel secure knowing that LM Kids takes care of all the practical details, allowing us to focus on what really matters: the girls and the experience itself.
We say yes because we find it exciting. There’s something special about not knowing every detail in advance and simply taking things as they come. And if anything were to arise along the way, we know there’s always help available.
Before a job, we always talk with the girls about what’s going to happen, where we’re going, who it’s for, and what the day will look like, based on the information we have. If they’ve been away a lot, we can quickly sense if it’s better to skip a job. But most of the time, they’re ready and take it all with a smile.
We find it very import balancing adaptibilty and also insure well-being.

That was also the case when we were asked if we’d like to go on a spontaneous trip to Portugal. We got the call just a few days before departure, asking if we were up for a weekend trip with both girls. That meant we both had to go along. Even though we couldn’t take Friday off, we were able to fly Friday evening, and we honestly didn’t hesitate long before saying yes.
The journey there was a bit tough for the girls, but upon arrival, someone was ready to pick us up at the airport and drive us straight to the hotel. Saturday started calmly with brunch and a short walk around Lisbon before we were driven out to the shoot.
There was a great atmosphere, lunch, and plenty of playtime with the other kids on set. Even as the energy slowly faded, there was great support behind the camera, and everything still came together. The rest of the day was spent relaxing, and in the evening we found a cozy restaurant in the city. On Sunday, we headed home again, and the girls themselves said it had been a great holiday.
