FELIX & FRIDA: TIME FOR MODELJOBS & OTHER ACTIVITIES

Felix and Frida are both models and have been since 2022. In addition to being models and attending school, they also both play football. The school is flexible and understanding, but they also notice that Frida and Felix are becoming more independent and socially confident. They have brought photos to school from various photoshoots so that their friends can see what they were doing.

How do you make the puzzle fit together?

Modeljobs is often during the week. Sometimes it can feel like a puzzle, but it is a priority we have chosen, as we can see how much they enjoy it. The model jobs they have never interfere with their sports activities, as they usually take place later in the day or on weekends. Some jobs often come with relatively short notice, which can sometimes be a challenge when it comes to getting free at work. However, this rarely causes problems, as we have grandparents who are also excited to be involved and have helped out a few times. 

As for school, one tip from us is to bring homework along to the job. We often have to drive a bit, and there can also be waiting time on set, so we use that time to our advantage. A bonus that comes with this tip is that we still have time for football and playdates when we get home. 

Qualities and learning

It is fun to play with the other kids on set, and we’ve also made a lot of new friends this way. Felix and Frida find it exciting to experience so many new and different places, and they have also been fortunate enough to have jobs abroad. They are curious to see who will be on set — photographers, stylists, other models — and not least, what snacks will be available. In general, for all the jobs we’ve attended, we’ve never left with a bad feeling. On the contrary, we’ve always been met with smiles and understanding that sometimes an extra break may be needed. 

Being models has given Frida and Felix a strong self confidence and belief in themselves. Moreover, they have become excellent at collaborating with both other kids and adults. Their social skills are outstanding, and this is definitely a result of the learning they’ve gained through modeling.
