FRIDA’S 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

It all started when I was around three years old. So it’s kind of hard to remember the earliest jobs I did, but I have heard a lot of funny stories and also remember some of them myself. For example, there was this one job where I was shooting winter attire with a huge Saint Bernard dog that was twice the size of myself. Another time, we were shooting at a playground at Givskud Zoo for a whole day.

We also had time to play and look at animals while they were taking the pictures. I also remember when I was around four years old and we were shooting pictures with all these toys I also remember when I was around four years old and we were shooting pictures with all these toys for a Christmas catalogue, so we got to play around and try out all of the different new toys. Back then all of the jobs actually just felt like playing around. 

I have been on so many fun and cool modelling jobs over the years. Some of the ones I remember the best, was the year when I was working a lot for Name It. Once, we were on a job for three whole days to rehearse for a fashion show in front of a lot of people. It was so much fun to experience. Having to  hurry changing into another outfit in between walking the catwalk. It was really cool to be part of such a big show – it was a dream come true. Another time, we were shooting both pictures and video in a forest in the middle of the summer.

We got our hair and makeup done in an old but really cool bus. The movie we were shooting was a Christmas calender for Name It. I was lucky enough to play the lead role. We had to find a key and simply just run around in the forest having a good time. We wore a lot of clothes as it had to resemble a cold winter day, when in reality it was one of the hottest summer days, so we were all sweating so much.  

I have gained so much from being a kids model. I have had so many cool experiences and a lot of great friendships. I feel very grateful to be able to try out modelling. Standing in front of the camera, working together with others on exciting jobs, having my hair and makeup done and getting to wear all of the cool clothes.

It’s been so great. I would definitely recommend others to try out modelling. You get some of the coolest experiences and make new friends. I only think there is benefits to it.
