OUR JOURNEY by Marie & Jakob
It all started a bit by chance when I (Marie) was “discovered” at a café and invited to a photo session by a scout from Le Management Kids. At first, my parents were a bit against it – they thought it was a flashy and cold environment in the industry, but they let me try it out, and it quickly turned out to be a great experience with super friendly and professional people on set.
The funny thing is that Jakob – my little brother – ended up becoming part of it too. He came along to one of my shoots, and someone noticed him and asked if they could take some pictures of him as well. Since then, we’ve both been a regular part of Le Management Kids, and it’s something we truly enjoy.

A big part of making it all work is that our parents are able to be flexible with their jobs and come with us when we go to shoots. But now that we’re a bit older and more comfortable with it all, we’re able to go to jobs on our own, as long as they’re near Aarhus, where we live.
We love the atmosphere on set – it’s always super nice to be around the photographers, stylists, bookers, and everyone else. Everyone is really kind, positive, and makes you feel welcome.
Of course, there are also times when you don’t hear anything regarding jobs – and we’ve learned that’s completely normal. It often just comes down to sizing, seasons, and whether you happen to fit what the clients are looking for – and that’s totally fair. We’ve learned to take it easy and not take it personally. When there aren’t a lot of jobs, we just focus on school, free time, and friends – and then enjoy it even more when we do get a job.
We’re super happy to be part of Le Management Kids and are crossing our fingers for many more cool jobs in the future!
