My name is Stella, and I’m 12 years old. One day, while walking down the main shopping street in Aarhus with my mom, I was approached by two girls from Le Management. They asked if I would be interested in becoming a model with them. Shortly after, Le Management Kids contacted me and asked if I had ever worked as a child model before and if I would like to give it a try.
I had never done anything like that before, but it sounded exciting. After talking it over with my parents, we decided to give it a shot. We visited their office, where a really nice girl took some photos of me. I had butterflies in my stomach, but she was great at asking lots of questions about my life, which helped me feel more relaxed.

My first modeling job was for Vero Moda. I remember being pretty nervous at the beginning because it was my first time. But the team was incredibly kind and helpful. They explained exactly what I needed to do, and after the first photo, I wasn’t nervous anymore. From then on, I just had fun trying on lots of different outfits, and I didn’t want the day to end.
The most fun job I’ve had was for Zara. We were shooting a Party Collection where I got to wear lots of glittery and glamorous outfits. Some of the pictures were taken outside on the streets of London with another girl from Holland. It was so much fun, and now we’ve become friends.
Another really fun job for Zara took place in Paris – in the rain! It’s a bit strange at first when people watch you posing on the street, but after the first few photos, you completely forget about it.
It’s also pretty special to see yourself on Zara’s website. My friends think it’s cool when they spot me there. I was especially surprised and happy when I was chosen for Zara’s new teen category, Z3D, because there were so many other amazing girls at the casting.

The best part about being a model is getting your hair styled, wearing makeup, and trying on lots of amazing clothes. It’s super fun! Plus, you get to meet so many different people, including other models, which makes the experience even better.
My best advice for anyone who wants to become a model is: just go for it! Everyone I’ve met has been so nice and supportive. You don’t need to know everything before your first photoshoot – they’ll guide you through it.
For me, it has given me so much more confidence, and I believe in myself more now.
Being a model is such a fun experience!
