The beginning as kids models

About two years ago, when Maya and Nadia had just moved to Denmark from England, where they are born, we were visiting the beach on a hot summer day. Suddenly, a friendly woman reached out to us to ask if the girls would be interested in joining a modeling agency for children. We had an ice cream at the beach and discussed whether the girls were interested. We agreed that it was an opportunity, we would like to pursue.

The first polaroids

We arrived at the agency in the city and were met by many smiling faces! The girls had picked out lots of different outfits beforehand, but actually ended up having their pictures taken in the outfits they were wearing initially. The whole experience was very pleasant and we soon realized it was the right place to be and something the girls really enjoyed. The athemosphere was lovely too.

Working for Vero Moda

The first time we got a job options for Vero Moda, it was for the youngest girl, Nadia. It took us a while to find the location, but when we started the shoot eventually, Nadia was shining. There was a lot of outfit changes, but she enjoyed every second of it. Nadia soon got used to shooting with Vero Moda and their crew. It felt completely natural for her to work with them.

Spending quality time together

Personally, I have never tried modelling before, but when Vero Moda asked if I would like to join their shoot, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with my kids while they were doing their thing. It was such a great experience. I did not feel like we were working, but creating amazing memories together at the shoot. Everyone was so nice and natural and the atmosphere was really great. When we participate in modelling shoots, we most importantly get to spend quality time together. When you are a single mother of two, it is rare that you get to spend time together with one child at a time and it is even better when we get to work together all three of us.
